AI Joe LLC (referred to as 'we', 'us', or 'our') respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we may share it when you use our website at aijoe.ai or purchase our services.
This policy applies only to information collected through this website. It does not apply to information collected offline or through other channels.
Course purchasers. When you purchase the Staying on Track course through our Stripe checkout, Stripe collects your payment details directly. We receive your name, email address, and GitHub username. Your GitHub username is required to deliver your private course repository — it is the only way we can grant you access to the course materials.
Voice chat. Our website includes an AI voice assistant for informational purposes. Audio from voice sessions is processed in real time to generate responses. We do not store or retain voice recordings after a session ends.
Contact and correspondence. If you email us at bill@aijoe.ai, we retain that correspondence in order to respond to your inquiry.
Analytics. We may use standard web analytics tools to understand how visitors use our site — such as which pages are viewed and where traffic comes from. This data is aggregated and not linked to individual identities.
Cookies. Our website uses standard browser cookies to support basic site functionality and analytics. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, though this may affect some site features.
We use information we collect to: deliver the course repository to your GitHub account after purchase; respond to inquiries and support requests; improve the website and our services; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We use third-party services to operate our website and deliver our services. Each has its own privacy policy.
Stripe — payment processing. Your payment details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by AI Joe. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
GitHub — course delivery. After purchase, we use the GitHub API to provision a private repository in your GitHub account. GitHub's privacy policy is available at docs.github.com/site-policy/privacy-policies.
Pipecat / Anthropic — voice AI. The voice assistant feature is powered by Pipecat and uses Anthropic's Claude model for real-time conversation. Audio is processed in real time and is not retained by AI Joe after the session.
We take reasonable precautions to protect the information we hold — including limiting access to personal data and using secure transmission protocols. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain course purchase records (name, email, GitHub username) for as long as necessary to support your access and to comply with legal and accounting requirements. Correspondence is retained for as long as it is relevant. Analytics data is subject to the retention policies of the analytics provider.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To make a request, contact us at bill@aijoe.ai. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
